What this report does
Lists all components that had a Temporarily Unavailable (TUx) status at any point during the selected date range. For each component, the report shows when it entered TUx status, why it was placed there, when it was expected to return to service, and — if the TUx was removed within the period — when it actually returned.
Use this report to audit TUx history for a regulation and period, identify components that are still in TUx status, and verify that expected return dates were met. This report is available directly on the Reports tab.
When to use it
- Reviewing all TUx activity for a unit or regulation during a compliance period.
- Identifying components still in TUx status (TUx Removed is blank).
- Confirming that TUx records include a valid reason and source.
- Verifying that components returned to service on or before their Available On date.
Parameters
| Parameter | Description | Required | How it filters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regulation | The regulation to report on | Yes | Only components mapped to this regulation appear; select <None> to include components regardless of regulation |
| Unit Type | Whether to filter by Process Unit or Location Unit | Yes | Determines which unit list populates |
| Units | One or more units to include | Yes | Only components in the selected units appear |
| Start Date | Beginning of the date window | Yes | TUx records that overlap the window are included |
| End Date | End of the date window | Yes | Expanded to include the full day |
Regulation is optional. Selecting
<None>for Regulation includes all components in the selected units regardless of regulation assignment. Selecting a specific regulation limits output to components mapped to that regulation.
TUx records that overlap the window are included. A component appears if its TUx status was active at any point during the date range — not just if it was placed into TUx during the range. A component placed into TUx before the Start Date and still in TUx at the End Date will appear.

What's included and excluded
Included:
- Components with a TUx profile (any TU% status) that was active at any point during the selected date range.
- All units of the selected type that are in the selected units list.
- All regulation assignments for each component (shown in the Regulation column).
Excluded:
- Components with no TUx activity during the window.
- Components not in the selected unit(s).
- When a regulation is selected: components not mapped to that regulation.
How key values are calculated
Which TUx records appear
A TUx record appears when the component's TUx start date (Unavailable From) falls before the end of the date window. This means TUx records that started before the window and were still open at the start are included.
Profile
The specific TUx status type — TUP (Temporarily Unavailable - Purged) or TUiS (Temporarily Unavailable - In Service). Different TUx types reflect different reasons a component has been made temporarily unavailable.
Available On
The expected return-to-service date recorded on the TUx record when TUx status was applied. This is not necessarily the date the component actually returned.
TUx Removed
The date the component's next non-TUx profile (Active or Deactivated) began. This is the actual removal date. A blank TUx Removed means the component has not yet left TUx status as of the report's end date — or no Active or Deactivated profile followed the TUx within the evaluated window.
Regulation column
If the component is mapped to multiple regulations, all are listed comma-separated. When <None> is selected as the Regulation parameter, components appear once per TUx record regardless of how many regulations they belong to.
Tips and common questions
- "TUx Removed is blank for several rows." A blank means the component is still in TUx status — it has not yet returned to Active or Deactivated. Review these rows to confirm the TUx is still valid and the Available On date is appropriate.
- "Available On is in the past but TUx Removed is blank." The component's expected return date has passed but it has not yet been cleared from TUx. This may indicate a TUx that needs to be resolved.
- "The Regulation column shows multiple values for one component." The component is mapped to more than one regulation. The Regulation column lists all of them comma-separated.
- "I selected a regulation but some components show a different regulation in the column." The Regulation filter controls which components are included; the Regulation column then shows all regulation assignments for those components, which may include others beyond the one you filtered on.
- "Why does a component appear even though its TUx started before my Start Date?" TUx records that were still active at any point during the window are included — not just ones that started within it. A component in TUx before your window that was still in TUx during the window will appear.
- "What do the different Profile values mean?" The Profile column shows the specific Temporarily Unavailable status code for the component. Common values include:
- TUP — Temporarily Unavailable - Purged: the component has been purged and is temporarily removed from monitoring service.
- TUiS — Temporarily Unavailable - In Service: the component remains in service but is temporarily unavailable for standard monitoring. Other TU% codes may appear depending on your facility's configuration. Contact your Chateau administrator if you see a code that is not listed here.
- "A component shows a TUx Removed date but then appears again in TUx status." A component can enter and exit TUx status multiple times. Each TUx period generates a separate row. The TUx Removed date on an earlier row reflects when the component was first removed from TUx status (via activation or deactivation); a later row reflects a subsequent TUx entry. Review all rows for that component to understand the full TUx history.
- "A component I know is in TUx status is not appearing." The report includes records that overlap the selected date window — a TUx record must have started before the end date AND either still be open or have ended after the start date. A component that entered TUx status after the end date will not appear. Also verify that the regulation filter (if selected) is the one the component is mapped to; selecting a specific regulation excludes TUx records tied to other regulations.
Sample output
Report run for Example Facility, Regulation: HON, Unit Type: Location Unit, Units: All Units, StartDate: 1/1/2024, EndDate: 7/31/2024.
What the rows illustrate:
Tags 1500 and 1501 — TUx Removed is blank: Both components (a Valve and a Pump) are still in TUx status at the report end date of 7/31/2024, with Available On dates of 12/30/2024 — in the future relative to the report run date. TUx Removed is blank confirming neither has returned to service yet.
Tag 1502 — Available On and TUx Removed diverge: Available On was 3/30/2024 but the component was actually removed from TUx on 3/5/24 — before the expected return date. This illustrates that TUx Removed reflects the actual removal date, which can be earlier than the planned Available On.
Tags 1503–1507 — batch TUx removal on 3/1/24: Five components entered TUx on different dates in January 2024 (1/15 through 1/19) with varying Available On dates of 3/29/2024, but all were removed on the same date (3/1/24) — before their Available On dates. This pattern indicates a coordinated return-to-service event that resolved multiple TUx records simultaneously.
All rows — uniform reason and source: Every row shows Change Why = "Maintenance" and TUSource = "Operations", indicating all eight TUx records originated from the same operational program rather than a mix of sources.
All rows — Profile = TUP: All components are in TUP (Temporarily Unavailable - Purged) status. No TUiS records appear in this sample.
Total: 8 – All eight TUx records fall within the single CRUDE unit section. No other units appear, confirming no other units had TUx activity under the Consent Decree regulation during the window.
Output format
One row per TUx record per component. A component that had multiple TUx periods during the window produces multiple rows. Suitable for on-screen viewing, PDF, and Excel export.
