Precision Calibration Grid

The Precision Calibrations grid (Resources > Calibrations > Precision Calibrations) is where you review, add, and correct precision calibrations. Set a Start Date, End Date, and optionally an Analyzer, then click Search to load the records for that range.

How records are organized

Records are grouped into sessions. Each session heading shows a single Passed or Failed status for the precision calibration (a manually entered session can be opened and edited; a SpanBox session shows a lock indicator).

Beneath the heading are the detail rows for each cylinder, including the three consecutive readings and response times that make up the precision test, and a Source column showing whether the record came from a SpanBox or was entered Manually.

What you can do from the grid

• Add Precision Calibration Record — enter a precision calibration manually (one analyzer per record). See Manually Entering Precision Calibrations.
   
• Edit — a record you entered manually can be opened and edited; SpanBox records are locked and cannot be edited.

Precision Calculation Model

The Choose Precision Calculation Model option shows the two methods Chateau can use to calculate the precision test from the three readings per cylinder. The first (Method 1) is the default and most common choice; Method 2 is an alternate formula. This model is set on the Settings > Calibration tab.

Managing the grid view

The grid supports the standard grid tools — building and saving a query, designing and saving a layout, and exporting. For details, see Grid Skills.
