Manually Entering Drifts

Note: Without a SpanBox, drifts can only be entered manually through Chateau Mobile. Additionally, Chateau Mobile does not have the built-in function to detect failed drifts, so all manually-entered drifts will appear as “Passed” in the grid, regardless of whether the cylinder PPMs match the analyzer readings.

Drifts can be done with or without a tour assigned to you. You must have calibration confirmations entered before you can enter the drifts.

To enter a drift record:

  1. Ensure you are connected to an analyzer and checked out. Go to the main menu on the top-left and select Calibration.

  2. Tap Input Drift Record in the prompt.

  3. Enter the time, probe type, drift type (noon or end-of-day), drift method (standard or VVa), select drift to confirmation or cylinder PPM, and tap Next.

  4. Now you are in the Drift Test page. The cylinders used for confirmation are automatically selected from the record of the daily calibration confirmation you recorded earlier.

  5. The analyzer’s current reading will be reflected in the Device PPM field. Tap Record to use this for the drift PPM, or you can type in the Manual PPM field, tap Record, and it will disregard the device PPM and instead show the PPM you entered.

  6. You can tap the confirmation PPM, date, and time in the grid to edit them.

  7. When finished entering the PPM for each cylinder, tap Save Drift.

  8. The drift records will be sent to Chateau after you have checked back in.

To view your drift records, go to Resources > Calibrations > Daily Calibrations. Select the date range and click Search. The daily calibration records will appear. Select each daily calibration record to see the associated drift records.
