Chateau Release Notes – Fixes & Improvements
Leaks
• Fixed Leak Alert email recipients not displaying correctly. After switching databases, the “Send To” field for leak alerts appeared empty even though the recipients were still saved. Signing out and back in restored the correct list. The recipients now display correctly without requiring a sign-out.
• Fixed repair attempts not triggering inspection due dates. For rules configured to index off the first attempt, repair attempts submitted from Chateau Mobile were not triggering due date recalculation.
• Fixed AVO confirmation inspection not opening a leak record. When a failing M21 AVO confirmation was deleted and re-entered, the replacement inspection was not opening a leak record.
Components
• Fixed Last M21 Performed column not populating. The column was displaying blank values for all components in the grid.
• Improved picklist and dropdown search in component fields. Search fields in component picklists and dropdowns now match any value containing the typed text, not just values that begin with it.
• Physical State is now an editable picklist. Users with the Picklists and Resource Management role can add, hide, and manage Physical State values directly in Chateau.
• Fixed PPM not displaying for components added and monitored simultaneously. When a component was created in Chateau Mobile and monitored in the same session, the PPM was missing from the tag screen and New Component porch, though it appeared in the Inspections & Attempts grid.
Reports
• Fixed report list invisible in dark mode. Report list text was remaining black in dark mode themes, making it unreadable against the dark background.
• Fixed TUx Removed date missing from the TUx Summary report. Components with a confirmed TUx → Active profile change within the report’s date range were not displaying the removal date in the “TUx Removed” column.
Rules
• Fixed D30/D90 inspection requirements not being created when a leak closes on a rule with delayed monitoring configured for all component types and physical states. Chateau had a bug that caused D30 and D90 requirements to not be created at leak close if the rule’s delayed monitoring was configured with no component type or physical state restriction, which was fixed in the January 2026 release. That release also introduced a retroactive check to find and create any requirements missed due to this condition, but the check required a delayed monitoring effective date to be set on each rule — where the date was missing, the check silently skipped the rule, and even where it was later added, some components remained outside the check’s evaluation window and were not picked up until an unrelated rule update reset their assignment. This release blocks saving a rule with delayed monitoring without the delayed monitoring effective date set, and the nightly check now includes a catch-up pass to find and schedule requirements for any components still affected.
Majordomo
• Reactivating deactivated users now available in Majordomo. Members of the “Can Add Users” security group can now reactivate a user’s account directly in Majordomo. When attempting to add a user whose email belongs to a deactivated account in the same company, Majordomo now prompts to reactivate it.
API
• Significantly faster inspection queries via API. Querying a large date range of inspections now returns results in seconds rather than minutes, reducing timeout risk for integrations that pull large datasets.
General
• Multiple databases can now be open in separate browser tabs. Each tab maintains its own independent database session. Switching databases in one tab no longer affects other tabs, and signing out in any tab logs out all tabs simultaneously.
• General bug fixes and stability improvements.
