We updated Chateau on the evening of January 15th. At the same time, we uploaded a new version of our Chateau Mobile app. Please update the Chateau Mobile app on all your handhelds if you would like access to these new features. Below is a detailed summary of fixes, enhancements, and new functionality included in this release.
Leaks - Edits to non–rule-related inspection properties now correctly trigger leak re-evaluation and recreation when applicable.
- Closing a DOR or changing the DOR Monitoring Frequency now updates the Schedule correctly:
- Closing a DOR immediately removes the DOR inspection from the Schedule.
- Updating the DOR Monitoring Frequency removes the existing DOR inspection from Schedule and schedules a new one after the nightly rules run.
- If the DOR is closed it will be removed from schedule as well.
- When closing multiple leaks at once, Chateau now uses the most recent allowable Date Closed based on the most recently opened leak.
- Leak Alert emails have been enhanced:
- Include the latest three leak images.
- Display additional fields for better context.
- Show only the most stringent due dates per component.
- Fixed issues preventing DOR emissions from loading.
- Leak Alert name edits now save correctly.
- Duplicate emission points are no longer shown on leaks.
Emissions - You can now select between Modified Trapezoidal and Midpoint calculation methods within the emissions model.
- A new Emissions Factor Set Configuration tab has been added under Settings → Emissions, allowing users to manage emission factor sets without LDARtools support.
- Added new reports:
- Emissions by Single Component (Modified Trapezoidal)
- Emissions by Single Component (Midpoint)
- DOR emissions now support the Midpoint calculation method.
- Corrected discrepancies between DOR calculated emissions and single-component emissions calculations.
- Generated emissions grid will now reflect a status of Failed if emissions failed to generate for some reason.
Cooling Tower - Added Cooling Tower Zero Air as a cylinder gas type.
- Zero Air checks are now restricted to cylinders with this gas type to prevent incorrect selection by technicians.
Inspections - Fixed multiple date/time issues where inspection times were displayed or saved in GMT instead of local time.
- Corrected default inspection time behavior for new databases.
- Fixed an issue where editing the “Performed On” field caused the inspection time to shift unexpectedly.
- Optimized OGI inspections grid loading performance.
- Cooling Tower inspection details now display correctly.
- PPM values of 0 now display properly instead of appearing blank.
Porches - Edits to OGI inspections are now reflected in the DORs, Leaks, and Inspection Edits porches.
- Porch comments now wrap correctly and automatically include commenter name and date.
- Fixed false positives in the Orphaned Subtags audit.
- Improved performance when editing components from the New Components porch.
- Added Mass Inspection Entry audit to flag inspections entered in bulk with identical details within the last 30 days.
- Fixed Monitoring Due in 4 Days audit to include inspections due on the current day.
Tours & Scheduling - Clicking the linked number in the Inspection column on the Schedule now opens a new Component Grid filtered to components in that grouping.
- Schedule grid performance improved for low-bandwidth network environments.
- Added Plant and Facility columns to the Schedule grid.
- Improved Chateau Mobile database processing speed.
Rules - Resolved issue of Delayed Monitoring not rescheduling after rule change and added an effective date for Delayed Monitoring rule module to allow choice of if leaks closed before rule assignment should have Delayed Monitoring scheduled.
Components - Fixed issue where custom added Yes/No component properties were not displaying correctly in the Component Grid.
Resources - Removed all legacy references to the deprecated Onsite analyzer field.
- Deactivated analyzers can now be reactivated correctly.
- Analyzers now appear correctly in the Add M21 Inspection dropdown.
- Precision Calibration grid now supports calibration records with zero values.
- Improved Cal 5 record uploads from SpanBoxes.
- Added Site Type picklist for LUnits, available in the Rule Assignment Query Builder for upstream facilities.
Reports - Fixed Full Data Leak History report showing outdated DOR information on new leaks.
- Updated Simplified Leak Report messaging to clarify it is optimized for CSV and Excel export.
OGI - Improved reliability of the OGI image upload process.
Help - Updated Help prompts to direct users to the new Knowledge Base.
- Submitting an issue now routes users to a structured issue-submission form.
- Top FAQs are now listed with direct links to relevant Knowledge Base articles.
API - Administrators now receive a periodic API Usage Report showing API token usage by database.
- Administrators with access to multiple databases receive a consolidated report.
General - Improved performance after building a large number of tours.
- Checkout process optimized to send only images for currently open leaks to Chateau Mobile.
- Fixed processing issues related to “Copy to Add” workflows.
- Removed legacy Pre-Generation of Non-Tour Tags feature.
- General bug fixes and crash stability improvements.
Chateau Mobile Cooling Tower - Redesigned Cooling Tower inspection workflow.
Analyzers - Improved TVA ignited detection.
- Chateau Mobile now remembers PHX42 calibration across checkout/check-in.
- Fixed background disabling not updating until app restart.
Inspections - Technicians can now report drops per minute on AVO inspections.
- Post-inspection details now auto-save as entered to reduce data loss.
- Fixed PPM calculation issues related to sample time and deflection dwell time.
General - Fixed crashes when minimizing the app with large datasets loaded.
- Improved mobile backup and check-in reliability.
