What this report does
Shows the same component-centric leak history as Full Data Leak History, with one additional section per component: the OGI (Optical Gas Imaging) inspection images. For each component with a qualifying leak, the report displays the target image of the component and any OGI inspection images stored for that component.
Use this report when you need all the depth of Full Data Leak History — component properties, DOR status, and leak/inspection/attempt sub-sections — and also need the visual OGI evidence (target and inspection images) in the same document. This report is in the Leak folder on the Reports tab.
When to use it
- OGI compliance audits where the regulator requires both data and imagery for each leak.
- Pre-inspection review of OGI leak findings when visual confirmation of the leaking component is needed alongside the component record.
- Archiving a complete OGI inspection record with both tabular data and images.

| Units | One or more units to include | Yes | Only components in the selected unit(s) appear |
| Comp Type | One or more component types to include | Yes | Only components of the selected type(s) appear |
| StartDate | Beginning of the date window | Yes | Components must have at least one leak with a found date on or after this date |
| EndDate | End of the date window | Yes | Defaults to today |
Columns
All columns are identical to Full Data Leak History. See Full Data Leak History for the complete column list and descriptions.
In addition, for each component that had a qualifying OGI leak, the report renders an OGI Inspection Image section after the leak sub-sections. This section contains two image slots side by side:
| Slot | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Target Image | A reference photo of the component stored in Chateau (may be blank if no target image was uploaded) |
| Leak Image [date] | OGI thermal image(s) stored for this component in Chateau; labelled with the inspection date |
Components may show a Leak Image but a blank Target Image if the OGI technician did not upload a target photo for that component. Both slots are rendered; blank slots appear as empty boxes in the report.
What's included and excluded
All inclusion and exclusion rules are identical to Full Data Leak History — the same filtering logic, parameters, and date window behavior apply. See the Full Data Leak History article for the complete details.
The OGI Inspection Image section is rendered for components where an OGI inspection opened a qualifying leak. Components with only M21 or AVO leaks will not have an OGI Inspection Image section, but will still appear in the report with their standard leak sub-sections (OGI Leaks, AVO Leaks, etc., as applicable).
Within the OGI Inspection Image section, the Target Image slot may be blank if no target photo was uploaded for that component. The Leak Image slot shows the OGI thermal images stored for that component in Chateau, labelled with the inspection date.
How key values are calculated
All calculated values are identical to Full Data Leak History. The target image and OGI inspection images are stored in Chateau and are retrieved automatically for each component that has OGI images on file. Image availability depends on whether the OGI technician uploaded a target photo and inspection images at the time of the inspection.
Tips and common questions
- "What's the difference between this report and Full Data Leak History?" This report adds the OGI target image and OGI inspection image for components with OGI leaks. All other data — parameters, columns, and filtering — are identical.
- "The Target Image box is blank for a component." The Target Image slot is always rendered for components with OGI leaks, but it will be blank if the OGI technician did not upload a target photo for that component in Chateau. A blank Target Image box does not indicate missing data — it means no reference photo was stored. The Leak Image may still be present even when the Target Image is blank.
- "A component shows an 'AVO Leaks' sub-section as well as 'OGI Leaks'." Components can have both OGI and AVO leaks — each type of leak appears in its own sub-section. The OGI Inspection Image section appears only for components where an OGI inspection opened a qualifying leak; it is not added for AVO leaks on the same component.
- "The report is very slow or the PDF is very large." OGI images can be large. For date ranges with many OGI leaks, consider narrowing the unit or date range, or exporting a smaller subset at a time.
- "I only want the data, not the images." Use Full Data Leak History instead — identical data with no image sections.
- "A component doesn't appear." See the "A component appears but some sub-section rows are missing" note in Full Data Leak History — the same filtering behavior applies.
- "Numbers in this report don't match what I see in Simplified Leak History." The two reports use different structures. Full Data Leak History is component-centric and groups all leaks under each component; Simplified Leak History is leak-centric and shows one row per leak. Component counts, DOR fields, and filtering behavior differ — see the article for each report for details before reconciling the two.
- "What is the Target Image?" The Target Image is a reference photo of the component stored in Chateau — typically a visible-light photo taken when the component was first catalogued or surveyed, used as a baseline for identifying the component's location and appearance. It is not an inspection-specific image. The Leak Image section shows all OGI thermal images stored for that component in Chateau, each labeled with the inspection date they were uploaded. If the component was inspected on multiple occasions, all stored thermal images will appear. Both slots are rendered even if one is blank.
Sample output
What the rows illustrate:
OGI Spot 02 (Unit LU#8, Pump) — M21 leak opened 10/18/22 at 5000 PPM against a 500 PPM Leak Def; EmPt = Bonnet. All three milestone dates (1stAtt, 1stReT, FinalRes) completed on 12/19/22; leak closed 12/19/22. The detail table shows a single Retest inspection on 10/19/22 by Devon Moody using analyzer phx42-0001. DOR Status is blank — no DOR was filed.
OGI Spot 02 (Unit LU#6, Valve) — AVO leak opened 07/01/21 with no milestone dates completed (1stAtt, 1stReT, FinalRes all blank), indicating the leak remains open. The detail table shows a sequence of inspections spanning 7/1/2021 through 7/4/2021 by Austin Regan and Thomas Wilson, mixing Optical OGI Image and AVO Retested inspection types, with alternating Pass and Fail AVO results. A Simple/Clean attempt by Austin Regan is recorded. The OGI Inspection Image section shows a Target Image (visible-light field photo) alongside a Leak Image dated 7/1/2021 with FLIR thermal overlay.
OGI Spot 03A (Unit LU#6, Valve) — AVO leak opened 04/05/21; 1stAtt and 1stReT dates completed 05/05/21 and 05/07/21 respectively; FinalRes PastDue as of the report date. Detail rows show OGI and AVO Retested inspections by Devon Moody and Thomas Wilson in April and the Target Image slot is populated with a field photo of a large storage tank.
OGI Spot 03A (Unit LU#7, Valve) — AVO leak opened 04/07/21; milestone dates mirror the pattern above (1stAtt 05/05/21, 1stReT PastDue). Detail shows OGI inspection on 4/6/2021 and AVO ReTest on 4/23/2021. OGI Inspection Image shows a Target Image of a water tank and a Leak Image dated 4/6/2021 with FLIR thermal overlay and GPS coordinates.
OGI Spot 03R (Unit LU#7, Valve) — AVO leak opened 04/06/21; same milestone pattern (1stAtt 05/05/21, 1stReT PastDue). OGI Inspection Image section shows a Target Image with a date/GPS stamp (10/04/2018) indicating the reference photo predates the leak, which is expected — Target Images are stored at time of component setup, not at time of inspection.

Output format
Designed for PDF printing and on-screen review. Each component section includes data rows followed by embedded images. This report is not suited for Excel export — images do not transfer to a spreadsheet. For data-only exports, use Full Data Leak History.
