Dear Chateau User,
We updated Chateau on the evening of March 6, 2026, along with a new version of the Chateau Mobile app.
- Interested in trying new features as we roll them out? We’re piloting an early access program for select customers. If you’d like to be among the first to try upcoming Chateau features, please reach out to LDARtools Support.
To access the new improvements below, please update the Chateau Mobile app on all handheld devices after March 6, 2026. Before updating, make sure all technicians have Checked In any outstanding data on their handhelds.
Chateau Release Notes – Fixes & Improvements
Leaks
- Resolved issue where approving suggested components with failing inspections did not open a leak record for OGI. When a technician added a component and inspected it with a failing OGI inspection, and the component was later approved from the New Component porch, the failing inspection was attached but no leak record was created. Leaks are now correctly opened upon approval.
- Corrected DOR date validation when planning or editing a Delay of Repair. In certain cases the Plan DOR and Edit DOR forms allowed invalid date entries or failed to display the correct trigger PPM. Date validation now works consistently.
- Fixed OGI leak video overwriting device leak images on the leak record. When a technician checked in with device-captured leak images and later matched and imported OGI videos, the video could replace the original leak images on the leak record. Both the device images and OGI video now display correctly.
Emissions
- Resolved emission results displaying as zero. On certain databases, all emission calculation results were returning zero despite correct emission model configuration.
Inspections
- Sensitivity Check form now accepts 0 PSI for pressure. The "Create New" form in the Sensitivity Check tab was rejecting 0 as a valid pressure value.
OGI
- Fixed target images not loading on the OGI and Picture audit screens. Reference images for OGI and Picture audits were failing to load in certain cases. Images now display correctly.
Porches
- Resolved Tours Due in 4 Days porch duplicating tour entries. The porch was creating duplicate tour records under certain conditions. Duplicate generation has been eliminated.
Components
- Fixed new components remaining on the New Component porch after approval. Components that were approved were sometimes still appearing on the New Component porch. Approved components now correctly clear from the porch.
- Component Grid performance. We made internal changes to how Chateau processes and stores component and inspection data. These changes lay the groundwork for faster data handling across the platform. During the transition, you will notice the component grid loads slower than before. We will be actively working on performance improvements in this area for the next few releases.
Resources
- Corrected “Use Alternate Factor Set” not saving when editing a chemical. Enabling the “Use Alternate Factor Set” option on a chemical record and saving would not persist the change — reopening the record showed the option as disabled. This now saves correctly.
Reports
- Corrected month ordering on Semiannual Agency Report when the period crosses a year boundary. The Agency Semiannual Report was sorting months incorrectly rather than chronologically when the reporting period spanned two calendar years (e.g., Aug 2025 – Jan 2026 displayed as Jan/Aug/Sep/Oct/Nov/Dec instead of Aug/Sep/Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan).
- Fixed DTM Count report showing incorrect percentages. The DTM Count report was calculating certain percentage values incorrectly. Percentages now reflect accurate counts.
- Corrected OOOOa Report not scoping leaks and DTMs per LUNIT. The OOOOa Report was aggregating leak and DTM data across all LUNITs instead of scoping results to each individual LUNIT. Report data is now correctly partitioned.
API
- Work Order field added to the Attempts API. The Attempts API now supports a WorkOrder field. This allows API consumers to submit a repair attempt using only the work order number — Chateau will automatically match it to the correct component, eliminating the need to look up the component ID.
- Department field added to the Tour and Leak Summary APIs. The GetTourInspectionRequests and GetLeakSummaries endpoints now include the component’s Department property in their response.
- New public API for inserting and updating components. A new PUT endpoint on the Components API allows bulk creation and updating of components and their properties.
Navigation
- New collapsible navigation panel. The left navigation panel can now be collapsed to a compact icon-only view, giving you more screen space for grids and data. Click the menu icon at the top next to Chateau to collapse the panel.
General
- Various bug fixes and stability improvements.
Previously Deployed
- Resolved emission results displaying as zero was deployed as a hotfix prior to this release for affected databases.
Chateau Mobile
Issue Reporting
- Submit issues directly from Chateau Mobile. A new “Report Issue” option in the Main Menu lets field technicians describe a problem, attach up to 3 screenshots, and submit directly to LDARtools support — no email or phone call needed. The report automatically includes device info, app logs, and your checked-out database so Support has the context they need without the usual back-and-forth. Available even before checkout for connection issues.
