| Property | Definition |
|---|---|
| Show Query | Used to search for components by any component properties. For instance, to search for all the valves designated as NDE, set to Comp Type = Valves and NDE = Yes. Queries can be named and saved for future use. |
| Add Fields to Query | Used to select the fields used to query, then the qualifier, and the details e.g. Location Is Like TK-140 |
| Search | Click to run query specified in the Add Fields to Query section |
| Saved Queries | Click Heart icon to save the current query Click the drop down to show all Saved Queries Click the Trash icon to delete the selected Saved Query |
| The date criterion that is already there | Several of these grids open with a date criterion pre-filled for the last seven days — All Leaks (Date Opened), Inspections, Attempts, Cooling Tower Inspections and OGI/Inspections (Date Performed). It is a starting point, not a limit: the criterion is shown in the query panel, and you can change the date, or X the row out entirely, then Search again to reach older records. This is the usual reason a record you know exists does not appear in a grid. Two related notes — the AVO Events screen does the same thing with its Start Date and End Date boxes rather than a query row; and when you reach one of these grids by drilling into a single component, the window is not applied at all, so you get that component's full history. |
Common In-Grid Features
These features are available in most grids, and the Columns and Filters panels are on every one of them. The Menu panel is not universal — OGI/Inspections, for example, offers only Columns and Filters, so the Refresh, Export and Grid Layout options described below are not available there. The quickest way to tell is to look at the vertical labels down the right-hand edge of the grid: whichever of Menu, Columns and Filters you see there are the panels that grid has.
| Property | Definition |

| Auto-size This Column | Expands the column to fit the longest character length in the current grid results |
| Auto-size All Columns | Expands all columns to fit the longest character length for each in the current grid results |

| Values | Currently unavailable to use |
Filters located to the right of each grid | |
