Inspection Sample Times – LDARtools

Here you can set up your desired sample time for your components.

Default Sample Time	The time entered here would be applied if the component does not fit into any of the types for specific sample times below.
Deflection PPM	If PPM rises above the background by this number, Chateau will prompt the technician to put the probe on the spot where the PPM rise occurred, and monitor for an additional amount of time to acquire a precise reading of a potential leak.
Dwell Time	The additional amount of time after the sample time is finished, if a deflection PPM was detected.
Set Specific Sample Times Per Component Type and Size	Set the sample time for different component types and sizes here. Click Add Component Type to add a new component type for sample times. On the existing component type tiles, use the trash bin icon to delete the component type for sample times, or use the pen icon to edit it.

Note: Inspection Sample Time is driven by a component’s Type and Size. When those fields change, sample time may change if the new values fall into a different range.

When the component type/size is edited and approved in Chateau, all tours checked out after the change will have updated sample times if the size falls into a different range.
When the component type or size is edited in Chateau Mobile, the sample time will not update until the change is approved. The sample time is immediately updated for users with the Approver role. Users without the Approver role will need to check in the change and have it approved first, before checking out again to see the updated sample time.
