How to Edit LUnits, Plants, and Facilities

View the details of a LUnit, Plant, or Facility

1. Go to the Resources tab, and then click the LUnits subtab.

2. You will be presented with a list of Facilities with Plants and LUnits folded in each Facility’s row. To see the Plants nested under a given Facility, click the gray plus sign on the far left side of the grid.

3. To see the LUnits nested under each plant, click the gray plus sign in each corresponding plant row.

4. Clicking anywhere else other than the gray plus sign in each row, a window will appear on your left showing the details of the selected LUnit, Plant, or Facility.

Editing a LUnit, Plant, or Facility

1. Follow the View Detail steps to find the LUnit, Plant, or Facility you wish to edit and see its details window.

2. If you have the Picklists and Resources Management role, you will see an Edit button near the top of the details window of the LUnit, Plant, or Facility you selected. If you cannot see the Edit button, your Chateau roles do not permit you to make the edit.

3. Click the Edit button, make the edit, and click Save.

   • If you can see the Edit button, you should also be able to see the Deactivate button next to it. You can use the Deactivate button to deactivate a LUnit, Plant, or Facility.

     • Note: deactivating a LUnit, Plant, or Facility does not automatically deactivate the components in it. The components in the deactivated LUnit, Plant, or Facility should be either deactivated or transferred to other LUnit, Plant, or Facility before the LUnit, Plant, or Facility is deactivated.
