To edit an inspection, do the following:
- Go to Inspections & Attempts.
- Do either of the following:
- Double-click an inspection, then click Edit.
- Select an inspection, then click Edit Inspection above the grid.
- If you have more than one inspection to edit, select all of them in the grid and use Multi-Edit.
- Change any editable value, then click Save. All values are editable in AVO and OGI inspections. For M21, readings (Gross PPM, Background, and Final PPM) and the Dwell Time are not editable; all the other values are editable.
Notes
- To backdate the inspection, use a minus sign (-) in front of the number. Please keep in mind, if you want to backdate a inspection that triggered leaks, you will notice the leaks are automatically managed from the original date. This means you might have missed the first 5-day repair deadline.
-
Edits to an inspection will cause Chateau to re-run the inspection rules, so if the edit caused a change that is regulatory-sensitive, it would be immediately updated. The only exceptions are adding documents or comments, which will not cause the rules to re-run.
