What this report does
Lists every daily calibration reading for each selected analyzer within the date range. Each row is one gas cylinder result from a calibration session — showing the analyzer, date, technician, probe type, probe flow rate, warm-up start time, calibration time, warm-up duration, cylinder, concentration, analyzer reading, percent difference, and whether the reading passed.
This report covers the same calibration activity as the standard Daily Calibration report but substitutes Probe Flow rate and warm-up start time for the Confirmation Time column. Use this format when you need probe flow data or a precise warm-up start timestamp. This report is in the Calibration folder on the Reports tab.
When to use it
- Verifying daily calibrations when probe flow rate documentation is required.
- Reviewing calibration records that include warm-up start timestamps.
- Producing calibration records for submissions that require flow rate data.
Parameters
| Parameter | Description | Required | How it filters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start Date | Start of date window | Yes | Calibrations on or after this date are included |
| End Date | End of date window | Yes | Calibrations on or before this date are included |
| Analyzers | One or more analyzers to include | Yes | Only calibration records for the selected analyzers appear |
Analyzer list is date-filtered. The Analyzers parameter only shows analyzers that have a calibration record in the database for the selected date range.

| Pass | Whether the calibration reading passed | "Yes" or "No" |
What's included and excluded
Included:
- All daily calibration readings for the selected analyzers within the date range.
- One row per gas cylinder per calibration session.
Excluded:
- Analyzers not selected.
- Calibration records outside the date range.
- Precision Calibration records (those appear in the Precision Calibration report).
- Drift check records (those appear in Analyzer Drift or VVa Drift reports).
How key values are calculated
Diff.
For span gas cylinders:
Diff. = (Reading ÷ Concentration × 100) − 100
A reading equal to the cylinder concentration produces a Diff. of 0%. A reading above concentration produces a positive Diff.; below produces a negative Diff.
For zero gas cylinders (0 PPM target):
Diff. = Reading × 10
Zero gas readings are near zero PPM; the × 10 factor scales small deviations to a visible percentage.
Warm Up Duration
The number of minutes from when the analyzer began warming up to when the calibration session began.
Tips and common questions
- "How is this different from the standard Daily Calibration report?" This report shows Probe Flow rate and Warm-Up start time in place of the Confirmation Time column. Use this format when flow rate documentation is needed.
- "Probe Flow is blank for some rows." Probe flow is only recorded on analyzers that capture this value automatically. Older records or certain analyzer models may not include it.
- "Warm Up is blank for some rows." If the analyzer's warm-up start time was not recorded, the Warm Up and Warm Up Duration columns will be blank.
- "The Diff. sign is reversed from what I expected." In this report, a reading above concentration gives a positive Diff., and below gives negative. This differs from the standard Daily Calibration report, which shows the opposite sign convention.
- "The report comes back empty." Confirm that the selected analyzers have calibration records in the database for the selected date range. The Analyzers parameter only shows analyzers with at least one calibration record in the period — if it was blank when you ran the report, no calibration data exists for those analyzers and dates.
-
"The Diff values on this form are the opposite sign from the standard Daily Calibration form." This form uses the formula
(Reading ÷ Conc × 100) − 100, while the standard Daily Calibration form uses100 − (Reading ÷ Conc × 100). A calibration that reads slightly high will show a positive Diff here and a negative Diff on the standard form. Both represent the same event — only the sign convention differs. Use the same form consistently when comparing readings across dates. - "When should I use this form vs. the standard Daily Calibration form?" This form is used at facilities that follow a different calibration reporting convention. If your facility is set up to use Daily Calibration Form 2, it will be the default option in your report list. If you are unsure which form applies to your facility, check with your Chateau administrator.

Report run for Example Facility, Start Date: 9/22/2022, End Date: 9/22/2022, Analyzers: phx42-3536, phx42-3584, phx42-3590, phx42-3599, and phx42-5389.
What the rows illustrate:
- phx42-3536 (CT-24077, zero gas) — Zero gas reading of 0.93 PPM; Diff. = 9.30%.
- phx42-3536 (CT20546) — High-range span gas at 9,812 PPM; reading within ~1% of concentration.
- 84-minute warm-up — First four rows for A. Scarborough on this date share approximately the same warm-up start (10:23 AM, 10:24 AM); the calibrations were performed 84 minutes after warm-up began.
Output format
One row per gas cylinder per calibration session, ordered by date, analyzer, and cylinder concentration. Suitable for on-screen viewing, PDF, and Excel export.
