Adding Your Device in Majordomo
- Navigate to your Overview dashboard and click on Majordomo.
- Click on Chateau Mobile Devices.
- Click the + Add Device button.
- Fill in the Technician Name to indicate who will be using the device.
- You can also add a brief description (like "Samsung tablet" or "Backup device") if you want to keep track of the specific hardware.

- Click the Next button to move to the QR code generation screen.
Scanning the QR Code
Move to physical mobile device and open the Chateau Mobile app.
- Use the app to scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen. Keep your camera focused on the code until the window on your computer automatically disappears. This confirms the device is securely connected!
Assigning a Database to the Technician
- Back on your computer, look at your list of devices. Find the device you just added and click directly on the name.
- Click on the Assignments tab.
- Click the + Add Assignment button.
- Use the search bar to locate the exact database(s) you want to assign to the technician.
- Select the checkboxes next to the database(s) to select them.
- Click the Assign button to confirm your selection.
- You are done! Your device is now fully registered, assigned, and ready for action in the field.
