Section 1
Issues With an Upcoming Fix
The following issues have a confirmed fix scheduled for an upcoming release: Friday, September 4, 2026.
Component Details - Tag Number Displays Vertically at Narrow Screen Widths
ChateauFix: Friday, September 4, 2026
When the browser window or screen width is reduced on the Component Details / Tag page, the Tag Number value in the tag box can display with each character stacked vertically instead of reading normally from left to right.
Workaround
If a Tag Number is hard to read, widen your browser window or view the page on a larger screen until the fix is released.
Leaks - Components Closed as Misidentified Stay on Monthly Monitoring Too Long
ChateauLeaksFix: Friday, September 4, 2026
When a leak is closed using the reason Comp Misidentified (meaning the component was never actually leaking), the component can be scheduled for monthly monitoring for about two months instead of returning right away to its normal monitoring frequency, such as quarterly.
Workaround
If a component is closed as Comp Misidentified, expect it to remain on monthly monitoring for about two months before returning to its normal frequency. Continue completing the monthly inspections during that time, or contact
LDARtools Support with questions about a specific component.
Section 2
Issues Currently Under Investigation
The following issues have been confirmed and are actively being investigated.
Workarounds are provided where available.
Component Grid - Closed DOR Can Still Show as Open
ChateauGridsFix: To Be Determined
In some cases, a Delay of Repair (DOR) that has been fully closed can still show as open on the Component Grid, and the On DOR indicator on the tag can remain lit even though the DOR is closed.
Workaround
Check the component's Leaks tab or the Closed DORs list to confirm the true DOR status if the Component Grid and tag header do not match. Contact
LDARtools Support if you need help confirming a specific tag.
Leak Details - Add New Emission Point Button Can Appear When It Should Be Hidden
Chateau & Chateau MobileLeaksFix: To Be Determined
The Add New option in the Emission Point picker on the Leak Details screen can appear even when your database setting is configured to hide it, in both Chateau and Chateau Mobile.
Workaround
If Add New appears in the Emission Point picker, please select from the existing list of emission points rather than using Add New, and contact
LDARtools Support if you need a new emission point added.
Assign Rules - Site Type Criterion Shows as Property Removed
The Site Type option used to build Assign Rules can display as Property Removed and no longer be editable, which means rules that were filtering by Site Type are no longer applying that filter.
Workaround
If you rely on Site Type in an Assign Rule, please contact
LDARtools Support so we can confirm how your affected rules are currently assigning components until the fix is released.
M21 Variance Porch - Edit Button Can Reset Inspection Fields
ChateauPorchFix: To Be Determined
Opening an inspection from the M21 Variance porch and clicking Edit can clear the Technician, Analyzer, M21 Why, and Detector Type fields and reset other fields to their defaults, instead of loading the inspection's existing values.
Workaround
Instead of using Edit from the M21 Variance porch, double-click the row to open the component record, then edit the inspection from the Inspection and Attempts section. This preserves the existing values correctly.
Deactivated Component Report - Recently Deactivated Tags Can Be Missing
ChateauReportsFix: To Be Determined
Components that were deactivated from service can disappear from the active component list as expected, but not appear on the Deactivated Component report for that period, due to how the deactivation date and time are recorded.
Workaround
If a recently deactivated component does not appear on the Deactivated Component report, please contact
LDARtools Support and we can confirm the deactivation is recorded correctly.
Full Data Leak History Report - DOR Information Can Be Missing for the Reporting Period
ChateauReportsFix: To Be Determined
On the Full Data Leak History report, DOR information for a leak only appears when the report's end date is set to a date after the DOR's Date Approved, even when the report is run for the correct period the leak was found in.
Workaround
If DOR information is missing for a leak on this report, try re-running the report with an end date after the DOR's Date Approved, or contact
LDARtools Support for help pulling the correct DOR details.
Majordomo - Database Admins Can Be Blocked From Removing a User Assignment
ChateauMajordomoFix: To Be Determined
Some database Admins who are also members of the Can Add Users group are unable to remove a user's assignment from a database in Majordomo. The Remove Assignment button is disabled with a message saying only administrators can remove assignments, even though the user is an administrator.
Workaround
If you are blocked from removing a user's assignment and believe you have the correct permissions, please contact
LDARtools Support so we can remove the assignment on your behalf.
OGI Video Uploads Can Get Stuck or Fail to Complete
ChateauFix: To Be Determined
OGI video uploads can get stuck showing an uploading status indefinitely, or intermittently return a failed error instead of completing.
Workaround
If an OGI video upload gets stuck or fails, please try the upload again, and contact
LDARtools Support if it continues to fail so we can help recover the video.
Cal 5.0 - Completed Daily Calibration Can Fail to Save a Record
Cal 5.0Fix: To Be Determined
In rare cases, a daily calibration on a SpanBox can be completed and signed off, but no calibration record is saved on the device, in the backup, or in the logs, leaving nothing to drift against.
Workaround
If a completed calibration does not appear under Results Calibration on your SpanBox, please recalibrate before attempting to drift, and contact
LDARtools Support so we can help recover the missing record.
