Using Extension Probes with SpanBox5

If you need to change your SpanBox5 settings for extension probe use, please follow the steps below:

Edit Settings in Customer Portal

1. Log in to the Customer Portal.

2. On the Welcome screen, choose Unit Settings.

3. Locate the onsite SpanBox by its serial number (SB5-xxx, SBL510/530-xxx) and click the Edit button.

4. Select the Multi Products tab, and then the Extension Probe section dropdown.

5. Under the Probe Type dropdown, select Extension.

6. In the Extension Probe Length field, enter the length of the probe (from the phx42 Quick Connect to the tip filter).

7. Click Save.

Confirm Setting Update on SpanBox

Note: The SpanBox must be connected to the network.

8. On the onsite SpanBox, select Settings on the home screen menu.

9. The Settings response should return a “Success” prompt, confirming the SpanBox is now set for extension probe use.

10. Under Daily Cal on the Warm-up screen, refer to the Ext. Probe, and Flow Rate dropdown.

11. Calibrate/PreCal/Drift as required
