Attaching Component-Specific Documents

In the Individual Component view, we have a dedicated subtab for attaching documents specific to components, such as certifications, sing offs, and/or plans. Adding and viewing target images can also be done in this subtab.

Regarding file types for uploading, any file type is accepted. The only restriction is the file must meet a 500 MB size limit.

Note: In-app preview only works for the five following types:

• .pdf
• .jpg
• .jpeg
• .png
• .gif

Any other file type has no preview, and the user is required to click Download and open it locally.
The Inspection, Attempt, Leak, DOR, Cylinder, and Cooling Tower document tabs have no preview at all, regardless of type.
