Setting Up Your LowE Program – LDARtools

Term	Definition
LowE Required	A component property field indicating the component it is subject to LowE requirements.
Equipment Subtab	A Components subtab where equipment changes are recorded on a specific component, including LowE or Replacement-In-Kind.
LowE Details	A component property field where information specific to LowE can be stored such as “why” a component is subject to or exempt from LowE requirements.
Equipment LowE Packing	Component property field: Populates if LowE Packing is selected on the equipment recorded in the Equipment subtab.
Run Rules after Save	A checkbox on the Equipment Add screen. If you want to run the rules IMMEDIATELY to see whether this component is due to be monitored, check this box prior to clicking the Save button. Note: Running rules can take some time. If getting the new equipment scheduled today is not a concern, you can leave this box unchecked. The rules will run automatically overnight.

To set up your LowE Program:

In Settings / Picklists, set up all picklists.
1. Set Category = Equipment to setup the preferred LowE picklists
2. Set Category = Component to setup the LowE Equipment Details field
3. Set Category = Attempts to add all LowE repair methods to the AttemptHow picklist
Ensure all the LowE-required Components are marked with LowE Required = Yes.
In the Component Grid, build and save a Query for LowE Required = Yes.
1. Include the LowE Detail and Equipment LowE Packing fields (and any other fields you prefer) in the layout.
2. Save the Query and the layout.
Enable the LowE Audits important to you in Porches / Audit Settings.

Note: When you add a new model to a piece of equipment and click Save, Chateau will run the rules overnight to schedule Initial Monitoring and/or reset the MMQ cycle, if applicable. If you check Run Rules After Save before saving, the process will run immediately.
