New Operations Dashboard (Beta)
Note: The Operations Dashboard is a Beta feature. To have it enabled for your database, please reach out to LDARtools Support.
The Operations Dashboard gives coordinators and managers a real-time view of inspection progress, tour coverage, leak health, technician performance, and database configuration status — all in one place. It replaces the need to run reports or navigate multiple pages to check on field progress.
The dashboard is per-user customizable: widgets can be shown, hidden, resized, and reordered. Your layout is saved to your profile and carries across devices and browsers.
Header and Period Controls
At the top of the dashboard:
- Period display — shows the current quarter or month, week number, and days remaining (e.g., Q2 2026 · Week 13 of 13 · 6 days remaining)
- Quarter / Month toggle — switches all inspection burndown widgets between quarterly and monthly view
- UPDATED [time] AGO indicator — confirms when the dashboard data last refreshed (green dot = live)
- Edit Dashboard button — enters edit mode to rearrange, resize, show, hide, or add custom widgets
Editing the Dashboard Layout
Click Edit Dashboard to enter edit mode. In edit mode:
- Drag handle (≡ icon on each widget title bar) — drag to reorder widgets
- Size controls (¼, ½, ⅔, Full) — resize a widget to take up a fraction of the page width
- × button — hides a widget. Hidden widgets are listed at the top of the page under Hidden widgets with a Show link to restore them
- Reset to default link (top-right) — restores the original widget layout and sizes
- + Add Custom Widget button (bottom of the page) — adds a new custom chart or table to your dashboard (see Custom Widgets below)
- Click Done Editing to save your layout
Custom widgets also show Edit and Delete buttons in edit mode.
Inspection Burndown Cards
One card per active inspection type (M21, AVO, OGI, CT). Each card shows progress for the current quarter or month (toggle between them at the top of the page).
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Large Number | Inspections completed so far this period (shown in red if behind required pace) |
| of [N] | Total inspections required this period |
| Progress bar | Red fill = actual progress; grey fill = required pace |
| % complete · Remaining | Percentage done and count of inspections still needed |
| Line chart | Solid blue line = actual daily progress; dashed line = required daily pace to finish on time |
| Short by ~[N] | Projected shortfall at current pace if the period ended today |
| Pace / Need | Actual inspections per day vs. inspections per day needed to close the period on time |
| Remaining breakdown | Rule-driven vs. manual inspection requests still open |
| View [N] Remaining → | Deep-link to the Schedule filtered to remaining open requests |
| Nothing due this period | Shown when no inspections are required for this type this period |
Tour Coverage
The Tour Coverage table shows how much upcoming inspection work has been added to a tour, across multiple time windows.
| Column group | Description |
|---|---|
| Window | Time horizon: This Week, This Month, This Quarter, This Year |
| DUE — Total / M21 / AVO / OGI | Number of pending inspection requests due within the window |
| IN TOUR — Total / M21 / AVO / OGI | Requests that are currently on a tour. Total shows the percentage covered and a rule-driven vs. manual breakdown. Click an IN TOUR cell to open the Component Grid filtered to those components. |
| NOT IN TOUR — Total / M21 / AVO / OGI | Requests not yet assigned to any tour. Click a NOT IN TOUR cell to open the Schedule filtered to that untoured work. |
Deadline Pressure
Four summary cards for open compliance obligations that need attention:
| Card | Shows |
|---|---|
| Open Leaks | Count of leaks currently open. Deep-links to the Leak grid. |
| Overdue Leak Responses | Leaks where the next required action (attempt, retest, or final resolution) is past its deadline. |
| Approaching Deadline ≤2D | Leaks whose next required action deadline is within 2 days. |
| Awaiting Attempt | Leaks that require a first attempt and have not had one recorded yet. |
Each card is a deep-link — click to navigate directly to the filtered list.
Technician Scorecard
A table summarizing field performance for all active technicians this quarter.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Technician | Technician name |
| Field Days | Days in the field this period |
| Inspections | Total inspections completed |
| Throughput | Inspections per field day |
| Avg LSTAR Score | Average daily LSTAR monitoring quality score |
| Leak Rate | Percentage of inspections that found a leak |
| Status | Flag (potential quality concern) or Ok |
A Flags badge at the top shows the total number of flagged technicians. Click any row to open the Tech Detail panel for that technician.
Tech Detail panel
The Tech Detail panel slides out on the right when you click a technician row. It shows:
- Header: name, period, flag/ok status, field days, inspection count, signal count
- PPM Distribution — bar chart of readings across PPM buckets (0–1, 1–3, 3–5, 5–10, 10–100, 100–1000, 1000+). Blue = this technician; grey = site average. Also shows zero-reading percentage and entropy score vs. site average.
- Leak Find Rate — this technician's leak rate vs. site average
- Background PPM Frozen — flags if the technician has an unusual number of consecutive identical readings (flags above 20; a count above 20 may indicate the detector was not being moved between readings)
- Dwell Time Near-Minimum — average seconds the technician spent above the site minimum dwell time, vs. the site average
- Near-Threshold Pattern — percentage of readings just below the leak threshold, vs. site average (a high percentage relative to the site may indicate threshold-avoidance behavior)
- Time on Tools — percentage of field time the technician spent actively using the detector. Target: ≥80% (green), 70–80% (yellow), <70% (red)
- LSTAR Daily Score — line chart of daily LSTAR scores for the period, with average, minimum, maximum, Hero Days (days scoring ≥80), and current hero streak
Site Stats
Four summary tiles showing site-wide statistics for the current period:
| Tile | Shows |
|---|---|
| Site Inspections | Total inspections completed, period label, and number of active technicians |
| Site Leak Rate | Percentage of inspections with a leak finding (count / total) |
| Site Field Hours | Total field hours estimated from person-days × average hours per day |
| Site Throughput | Average inspections per hour across all technicians |
Leak Charts
Three charts showing leak data:
- Leaks by Location Unit — bar chart of leak counts by LUnit for the current period
- Leaks by Component Type — bar chart of leak counts by component type for the current period
- Leaks by Month — bar chart of leak counts for the trailing 12 months
Avg Repair Time by Unit
A bar chart showing the average number of days from leak open to leak closed (repaired) for each Location Unit. Excludes DOR-closed leaks. Timestamp shown below the chart indicates when the data was last calculated.
Database Health
Two side-by-side panels that surface configuration gaps and equipment status.
Component & Configuration
| Item | Flags when |
|---|---|
| TU items past return date | Any TUx items have not been returned by their expected return date |
Equipment & Operations
| Item | Flags when |
|---|---|
| Precision calibration overdue | Detectors with a precision calibration past due |
| Daily calibration overdue | Detectors with a daily calibration past due |
| Cal cylinder expiration | Calibration cylinder(s) expiring within a threshold window (shown in days) |
| Tech certification | Technician certifications expiring within the threshold window (shown in days) |
| API Budget | API token calls used vs. the monthly limit |
Items shown in green are within acceptable range. Orange = approaching a threshold. Red = overdue or exceeded.
