Building your DOR Program

Getting ready

a. Open the Knowledge Base.

b. Search on “delay” to direct you to the article providing an overview of how Chateau manages DORs: DOR (Delay of Repair).

c. Read the article linked above and note:

1. The DOR Grid you can access from the Leaks tab

2. Description of all of the key terms

3. The required and optional property fields for each DOR

4. How to build a query in the Component grid to pull up the DORs

5. New leak opening when a component is on DOR

6. Two ways to add a new piece of equipment to a DOR record

Set Up Your DOR Picklists

a. On the main navigation panel in Chateau, open the Settings tab.

b. Open the Picklists subtab.

c. In the Category box, select DOR.

d. Based on the descriptions in the article linked in section 1 above, create your DOR picklists.

Set Up Your Daily DOR Audits

a. On the main navigation panel, open the Porches tab.

b. Open the Audit Settings subtab.

c. In the search box, enter “DOR.”

d. Using the toggle button, turn on the Audits you want to perform each morning.

e. Assign an email address for anyone wanting to receive an alert, whenever this audit brings back a result.

• Note: in order to select an email address for this mailing list, the person’s email address must be entered in Majordomo, and viewable in the People subtab of the Resources tab.

Set Up Your Upcoming Shutdowns

a. On the main navigation panel, open the Leaks tab.

b. Open the Shutdowns subtab.

c. Select the Add Shutdown button.

d. Follow the prompts.

e. You can now use this list to associate all of your DORs to a specific, upcoming Shutdown.

Planning a Specific DOR for an Existing Leak

a. On the main navigation panel, open the Leaks tab.

b. Select a single leak.

c. Select the Plan DOR button.

d. Fill in the required and optional fields, relying on the information about each item in the DOR article featured in section 1 above.
