How to Build a Tour

 

Tours are automatically built in Chateau once the user chooses which components to put in the tours.

  1. Click Tours.

  2. Click on the Queue tab.

  3. In the Non-DTMs per Tour field, fill in how many normal-to-monitor components you want in a tour.

  4. In the DTMs per Tour field, fill in how many difficult-to-monitor components you want in a tour.

  5. In the Max # of Tours field fill in how many tours you want to build.

  6. Use Select End of if you want to search for components by frequency. Click the X to clear this dropdown and ignore it if you don’t.

  7. Use the End Date field if you want to search for components due on OR BY a specific end date.

  8. Use the Profiles dropdown if you want to exclude specific profiles like TUx components (out of service) from the tours.

  9. Click Search.

  10. Select the rows you want to add to tours. Note: Each row can represent multiple components, look for the Inspections column if you’re curious. (if all rows, click on the topmost check box).

  11. Click Build New Tours and you’re done.

  12. If you want to add to an existing tour instead, click on Add to Tour.

  13. Select the tour to which you wish to add the components.

  14. Click Add to Tour.
