How to Create, Edit, or Delete a Connection to a Chateau Database

Note: If Chateau Mobile has never been logged in on your device before, you will start from step 4 of this guide. Start from step 1 only if you are already signed in and looking to add an additional connection, edit, or delete existing connections.

  1. Tap the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner of the screen to open the main menu.

  2. Select Data Connections from the listed menu options.

  3. If you wish to delete a connection, select the connection and tap Delete. If you wish to use a different connection, select the connection and tap Connect. If you wish to edit the username, password, or connection name of a connection, select the connection and tap Edit. If you wish to create a new connection, tap the New button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Proceed to step 4 if you are creating a new connection.

  4. Enter your credentials to sign in.

    • Sign In with Microsoft (Optional):
      • If your company uses Microsoft or Single Sign-On (SSO) you can skip entering a username and password by selecting the Sign in with Microsoft button at the top of the screen. Then follow the prompts to authenticate your login.

  5. Set a Connection Name by entering any name you prefer. If multiple technicians will use this device, consider naming the connection after the user who is signing in.

  6. Ensure the Chateau Cloud checkbox is selected.

  7. After entering all the required information, tap the Test button in the lower-right corner to test the connection.

  8. If the test is successful, you will receive a “Success!” notification. You can then tap Save to finalize and save your connection, which will then take you back to the home screen.
