Area | Geographical area designed as a part of a LUnit for helping group or locate components. It is useful for creating smaller tours in a big LUnit. |
Current Tours | These are tours which are already built. Select this option to view, edit, and manage those tours. |
Queue | The grid displaying all currently scheduled components (based on the selected scheduling date) that have not been placed in a tour. A component scheduled (by the Rules) and assigned to a tour is removed from the queue. If any component (that has been scheduled by the Rules) is removed from a tour, then it is returned to the queue so it can be reassigned to another tour. |
Query | Select properties and values to refine components loaded into the grid. You can name and save any query for future use. |
Queue Components | Select Components and move them into the queue. |
Chateau Mobile Sync Status | See Chateau Mobile Sync Status. |
Inspections per Tour | When you build a tour automatically, you need to input into this field the maximum number of components you want to have in each tour. Based on Chateau’s REN Attachment function, you may have slightly more than this number in some tours. |
Non-DTMs per Tour | How many non-DTMs do you want to include in a tour when you are building non-DTM Tours? |
DTMs per Tour | How many DTMs do you want to include in a tour when building DTM Tours. |
Max # of Tours | Set the inspections per tour levels, select the component groups in the grid below and then specify how many tours you want built. For instance, if you have set 400 for the inspections and selected 10,000 components in the grid, below, Chateau will quickly build 25 tours. |
Make Tours LUnit Specific | When enabled, this will ensure every tour will only have components in the same LUnit. If you want components in multiple LUnits (such as a monthly pump tour) into a single tour, then disabled this feature. |
Build New Tours | This action button will build new tours based on choices you make and component groups you select in the grid. These tours will immediately appear in the Current Tours tab. |
Add to Tour | This action button will enable you to add selected components (in the grid) to existing Tours. A dialogue box will open to enable you to do this. |
Select End of… | When building the grid, you can easily select a date corresponding to the end of a given calendar period. |
End Date | When building the grid, rather than specify then end of a time period, you can use the first box to select a specific date. |
Profiles | Chateau will automatically include only the active components in the grid. If you want to include any other profiles, you can enable them here. |
Search | This action button will search the database and build the grid based on your selected settings. |
Organize by… | By specifying any or all of these options, you will be able to filter the grid for these specific properties. For instance, if you want to sort the grid by Component Type, you will need to select the Type button. This will then separate all components into rows by type, enabling you to build a type-based filter. |
Evergreen Tour | A tour that does not dissolve when empty or has an elapsed due date. Evergreen Tours can be assigned to a specific tech and be available for adding components to at any time, such as the Pump Tour or the ReTest Tour. The individual inspections will still be removed from the tour as their due date elapses though. |
Inspections | A data column in the grid showing how many inspections are in each group. You can view the list of tag ID numbers on any line in the queue by clicking on the hyperlinked number in the Count column. |
Rows | Indicates the number of rows in the grid. Note: This is the number of rows, not the number of components. Each row represents a group of components. |
REN Attachment | If you have a REN assigned to each component, Chateau will ensure once it starts assigning components on any REN to a tour, it will assign the rest of the components on that REN to the same tour. This will generally result in getting more components than you asked for. |
Detector Specific Tours |
If you have detectors assigned to your streams (such as PID, FID, FREON, CAMERA, etc.), Chateau will build separate tours for each detector type. This will likely result in more tours than planned since Chateau creates a new tour for each detector type. |
Create Tours by LUnit | Turning this button on will ensure that each Tour includes components from only 1 LUnit. If you want to combine more than one LUnit into the same tour, the turn this off. |
Due in Days | The number of days until the first component in this group is due to be inspected. |
Due On | The date on which the first component in this group is due to be inspected. |
End Date / Load | To look at only a specific time period, follow these two step. |
Group SubRows by… | Selecting different options will present the data to your in different way to enable you to located specific groups more easily. |
Checked In Time | When the tour was checked backed in from a handheld. |
Checked Out Time | When the tour was checked out to a handheld. |
First Route Sequence | The first route sequence number in each tour. It is displayed so you can sort the grid by the LUnit and then sort by first route sequence, assigning adjacent tours to the same technician. |
Failed Processing | Indicates all sync Data has been moved and stored in Chateau, but was not able to process into the database. An example of this would be a picklist change while the tour was checked out. Go to Tours / Sync and find the line for the sync problem and select Reprocess. If this does not work, submit an issue. |
