Credentials (Logins)

1. What kind of credentials might I need? LDARtools requires credentials to log in to four different platforms:
  • Chateau
  • Chateau Mobile
  • LDARtools Customer Portal — for reporting technical issues and problems with Chateau
  • Online Training — currently only for phx42 and phx21 repair certifications
LDARtools provides credentials for Chateau and Chateau Mobile. The user creates their own for the Customer Portal and Online Training accounts.
2. Are credentials for Chateau and Chateau Mobile the same? Yes. The credentials for one will generate access to the other.
3. Are credentials the same for the other platforms? No. The Customer Portal and Online Training accounts are not, necessarily, the same.
4. Why can’t they be the same? You can make them same once you receive them, but our security protocols require we issue a unique password when providing Chateau credentials.
5. Should the username always be my email address? Yes, and always use only lowercase letters.
6. How do I get my Chateau credentials? See Acquiring Chateau Credentials.
7. How do I get my Customer Portal credentials? See Acquiring Customer Portal Credentials.
8. How do I get my Online Training credentials? See Acquiring Online Training Credentials.
9. What if I forgot or lost my username? Chateau/Chateau Mobile: Email support@ldartools.com.

Customer Portal: Email support@ldartools.com.

Online Training: You can log in with either your email address or username. If you forget your username, log in with the email address registered to the account, go to My Info from the “Learner” dropdown in the upper menu, and from there you can see your username.
10. What if I forgot or lost my password? Chateau/Chateau Mobile: Email support@ldartools.com.

Customer Portal: Use the Customer Portal’s Forgot My Password tool (also accessible via the link on the Customer Portal’s sign in page).

Online Training: Use the “Forgot your password?” link below the Login button on the login page.
11. What if I change my email address? Chateau/Chateau Mobile: Email support@ldartools.com.

Customer Portal: Email support@ldartools.com.

Online Training: Log in using either your username or previous email address, go to My Info from the “Learner” dropdown in the upper menu, change the listed email address to your new one, and click Update user.

IMPORTANT: Your email address for Online Training MUST match the one registered to your Customer Portal account, otherwise repair certification statuses won’t update upon completion. If you update your email address in your Online Training account, please email support@ldartools.com to confirm the email address is updated on the Customer Portal side as well.
